Cancellation Policy

Mayan Bungalow at Chichen

At Mayan Bungalow at Chichen, we understand that travel plans may change. Therefore, we have established the following cancellation policy to provide our guests with clarity and confidence.

1. Free Cancellation

Cancellations made at least 7 days before the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund of the deposit or amount paid.

2. Cancellations Made Less Than 7 Days Before Arrival

If a reservation is cancelled within 7 days of the scheduled arrival date, a charge equivalent to the first night’s stay may apply.

3. No-Show

If a guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice, no refund will be issued, and the full cost of the first night may be charged.

4. Early Departure

If a guest chooses to leave before the scheduled departure date, no refunds will be issued for unused nights.

5. Reservation Changes

Requests to change reservation dates are subject to availability and may involve rate adjustments depending on the season.

6. Reservations Made Through Booking Platforms

Reservations made through Airbnb or Booking.com are subject to the cancellation policies established by each platform.

For greater peace of mind, we recommend that our guests consider purchasing travel insurance that covers unexpected cancellations.
